Eccoci di nuovo a Roma, ritornati alla vita di tutti i giorni, dopo quest’ennesima esperienza gratificante che solo un’attività come il coro può regalarti. Oltretutto, questa volta, siamo anche tornati con una vittoria in tasca, e che vittoria!
La vittoria in uno dei concorsi del circuito mondiale di canto corale amatoriale più importante del mondo, che ci permetterà di partecipare nell’aprile del 2018 alla competizione tra i cori vincitori degli altri concorsi del circuito nell’arco del 2017: l’European Grand Prix for Choral Singing.
Una vittoria che è riuscita a pochissime compagini italiane e che non era mai riuscita prima al Musicanova, che ha arricchito dunque il suo già prestigioso palmares con questa entusiasmante impresa. Impresa che in pochi, al di fuori del mondo corale, possono comprendere fino in fondo.
Quel che è certo è che noi siamo consci di ciò che abbiamo realizzato, e gli amici, i parenti, i conoscenti che ci hanno visto tornare con sorrisi a 32 denti da Tours, magari non avranno capito appieno cosa abbiamo combinato, ma sicuramente vedendoci contenti ed entusiasti, hanno gioito della nostra euforia, e questo, da solo, è già abbastanza.
Siamo tornati a Roma più sicuri dei nostri mezzi, consapevoli che dei ragazzini sbarbatelli e ignari di cosa sia la Musica con la m maiuscola possono, grazie all’amicizia, alla voglia di crescere divertendosi, alla costanza, arrivare a rappresentare un’eccellenza italiana nel mondo, calcando il palco di Tours con una consapevolezza di cui solo dieci anni prima si era completamente ignari. Siamo tornati consci del fatto che nulla, se perseguito con determinazione ed impegno, sotto l’occhio vigile di un’abile guida, ci è precluso.
Festeggiare il momento della proclamazione insieme agli amici con cui hai condiviso le esperienze più importanti della tua vita, è stato semplicemente indescrivibile.
Abbiamo sperato che quel momento di pura gioia durasse per sempre, ma poi, ripensandoci, non è ciò che vogliamo, perché la vita è fatta così, di alti, in cui vengono coronati tutti gli sforzi profusi in precedenza, e di bassi, dove si lavora sodo per cercare di raggiungerne di altri.
E allora, si ritorna a Roma, alla vita di tutti i giorni, impegnandosi ed aspettando con calma che dentro di noi cresca lentamente l’attesa per quando arriveranno altri momenti come questi, momenti unici, indimenticabili, magici.
Grazie Musicanova.Here we are back in Rome, back to our everyday lives, after yet another satisfying experience that only singing in a choir can make possible. Besides, this time, we came back with a victory in our pockets, and what a victory!
The victory of one of the world’s most important competition of the circuit for amateur choral singing, which will allow us, in the April of 2018, to participate in the competition between the choirs who won the other circuit competitions in the course of 2017: the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing.
A victory that only a couple of Italian choir groups were able to reach, and which Musicanova was never able to reach until now. A victory that enriched Musicanova’s already prestigious record of achievements with this thrilling endeavour. An endeavour that only a few, outside of the choral world, can truly understand.
What’s certain is that we are aware of what we’ve achieved; and even though our friends, relatives and acquaintances, who saw us come back from Tours with the biggest smiles, probably didn’t really fully comprehend the relevance of what happened , seeing how happy and excited we were, they still rejoiced for our euphoria, and this alone, is already enough.
We came back to Rome more aware of our means, aware that even some sloppy kiddos like us, oblivious of what Music is, thanks to friendship, to perseverance and to the desire of growing while having fun, were able to represent Italian excellence in the world, treading the boards of Tours with an awareness which, only ten years ago, was impossible to even imagine. We came back conscious of the fact that nothing is impossible, if pursued with dedication and commitment, under the guidance of an experienced leader.
Celebrating the moment of the proclamation together with your friends with whom you have shared the most important experiences of your life, is just beyond words.
We hoped that the moment of pure joy would last forever, but then, coming to think about it, it isn’t what we want. Because that’s how life works: there are high peaks, when all your efforts are rewarded, and low peaks, when you work hard to try to reach for your next goals.
So, here we are back in Rome, back to our everyday lives, working hard and waiting calmly for the anticipation of other moments like these grows. Unique, unforgettable, magical moments.
