History

Since its debut in 1990, the Musicanova choir has distinguished itself with a diverse repertoire that, while emphasizing Renaissance and contemporary music, also spans genres from medieval to pop.

The Conductor

Fabrizio Barchi made his debut as a choir conductor in 1979 and during those same years completed his musical training at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome, under the guidance of maestros Raffaele Baratta, Bonifacio Baroffio, Domenico Bartolucci, and Armando Renzi. He also attended courses with maestros Gary Graden, Jurgen Jurgens, Peter Neumann, Francesco Luisi, and Adone Zecchi.

The Association

The Musicanova Association pursues artistic goals and the promotion and dissemination of musical culture. It aims to carry out significant cultural and social actions in the city and, in particular, in the area where it operates.

To qualify the work of the association, the main focus will be on public performances, concert lessons, participation in festivals and competitions, and cultural exchanges with similar organizations both in Italy and abroad.
